THE CHOICE OF THE RIGHT WIDE SPREADER DEPENDS ON THE SLOPE INCLINATION, WIND AND SPREADING WIDTH!
The classic model in spreading
The goals of a wide spreader:
- Efficiency
- Good value for money
- Low weight
- Wind resistance due to large drops
SPLASH PLATE
Splash plates are easy to handle, offer an excellent spreading pattern and enable a large-drop distribution.
- Plastic splash plate
- with spring-loaded flap
MÖSCHA SWIVEL DISTRIBUTOR
Patented swivel distributor with precise large-drop distribution for less nitrogen loss.
- Stainless steel version
- Swivel angle limiter
ELECTRIC SWIVEL DISTRIBUTORS
The classic model with a spreading width of up to 24 m can be easily controlled via the control panel.
- Spreading width adjustment left and right
- Tilt adjustment via control terminal
WIDE SPREADERS: THE CLASSIC MODELS FOR MANY DECADES
Wide spreaders
They are simply built, meant to last almost forever and are lightweight: wide spreaders are therefore often the first thought when choosing the spreading technology. Whether the use of wide spreader makes sense despite the higher nitrogen loss in principle depends largely on the topography of the fields and the weather conditions during spreading.
Steep surfaces? No problem!
As near-ground spreading technology is heavier and larger than conventional wide spreaders, it is only suitable for steep areas to a certain extent. In principle, a guideline value of 30 % gradient is assumed as the limit for the use of near-ground spreading technology. This guide value may vary slightly depending on the topography of the areas and soil conditions. In order to find the best possible technology for your business, we will be happy to advise you on site.
The weather is an important factor!
Sure, you can’t control the weather conditions ideal for spreading farm manure. Nevertheless, it’s essential to observe them whenever possible to prevent nutrient losses, protect the soil, and save money. The air temperature is the most important parameter here. The higher the temperature, the higher the losses. Emissions also increase significantly at high wind speeds. In contrast, precipitation and high humidity reduce ammonia emissions.
Splash plate
Splash plates are easy to handle, offer an excellent spreading pattern and enable a large-drop distribution. The plastic splash plate with spring-loaded flap can be fitted to the three-point hitch cat. 2 (or as per demand cat. 1). The lateral limitation increases the lateral distribution accuracy. In addition, large-drop distribution guarantees an organized and precise spreading pattern of up to 12 m.
Electric swivel distributor
With the 12 V electric drive, which can be controlled via a control panel, the swivel distributor is the solution for spreading widths of up to 24 m while remaining lightweight. Both the left and right spreading width settings as well as the throwing height and flap tension can be individually adjusted. On request, the three-way valve with or without hydraulic adjustment can be installed. The turning tube can also be extended or reinforced.
